HSC-40BW Camera |
|
HSC-40 Camera is a digital camera of high resolution. The camera can be manufactured in the version with a black-white or colour sensor. The camera parameters qualify it as a measurement camera. The camera has 10-bit digitalisation system and RAM internal image memory. The camera has Gamma digital programmable correction. This solution ensures high image quality and stability. The image transmission to PC and camera programming is performed by means of PCI card. One PCI card can be connected to maximum 128 cameras, which enables easy designing of multi-camera systems. The camera operation programme is for Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0, and Windows 2000 systems. |

Programme: |
The programme operates cameras and
equipment used for steering cameras, or the whole multi-camera system. The programme
recognises cameras, their versions as well as other equipment connected to PC.
For each camera it is possible to perform individual simple operations on the
image, such as mirror or contrast. All parameters are programmed from the programme
level, and remembered for each camera individually. In the mode of work with asynchronous
shutter, steering of the camera is indispensable, i.e. defining when and how long
the sensor is to be exposed. Sequencer V6.1. programmable impulse generator is
used for this purpose; the generator is also operated by the programme. Sequencer
V6.1 can steer fourteen cameras at most. The steering time dependencies of particular
cameras can be graphically set, which simplifies the system configuration. |

Applications |
|
|
Very short exposure period (lus) and asynchronous
work mode make it possible to apply the camera for registering very fast phenomena
in a selected time moment. The camera can be additionally equipped with the image
intensifier (MCP) which shortens the shutter time up to 10ns.
The camera can be also equipped with impulse illuminator (programmed photo-flash-lamp),
helpful at short exposure periods.
HSC-40 cameras with MCP are applied in CORDIN 222B system, which makes it possible
to take eight pictures with the speed of 100 million pictures per second.
HSC camera can work in “Partial Scan” mode, i.e. only a part of the image is preserved
in the memory, e.g. the first 200 lines. This causes acceleration of images registration
from 12 full images/second to 60 fragments of images/second. The ability of taking
two pictures in lus time interval constitutes a very important feature of HSC-40
camera. The double image memory and adequate camera steering as well as illumination
are indispensable for this purpose. This function is the most effective if the
camera is equipped with MSP image intensifier. |
